Description
DJI’s top folding drone for 2025 moves the main camera to a round gimbal that can rotate a full turn, so it can shoot true vertical frames and rolling shots without cropping. Compared with the Mavic 3 Pro, the Hasselblad sensor jumps to 100MP, the medium telephoto gains resolution and the transmission and flight time both stretch further.

Who it’s for
It fits real estate and wedding videographers, landscape shooters and Part 107 or Advanced-certificate pilots who need three focal lengths in one flight. It is a large, heavy drone, so beginners and casual travellers are usually better served by a smaller model.
What to check before you buy
- Kit type: confirm whether the listing is the base kit with DJI RC 2, the Fly More Combo or the Creator Combo with DJI RC Pro 2, since the box contents differ a lot.
- US availability: DJI did not release this model through its own US channels, so new units sold in the US are imports. Ask the seller which regional version it is and who handles warranty service.
- Registration: at over 1 kg it must be registered with the FAA in the US or with Transport Canada, and it broadcasts Remote ID. Canadian pilots also need the right pilot certificate.
- Sealed box: look for factory-sealed packaging and an unactivated aircraft; activation is tied to a DJI account, so ask the seller to confirm it was never linked.
- Read our buy safely on eBay checklist before paying for a high-value drone.
