Description
When it launched in September 2025, the 17 Pro brought a major Pro redesign: an aluminum unibody instead of titanium, a camera plateau across the back, an 18MP Center Stage selfie camera and a 48MP telephoto. It has since been replaced at Apple, but new stock still circulates.

Who it’s for
It suits creators and mobile photographers who value the telephoto lens, and anyone upgrading from an iPhone 14 or older who wants a Pro phone without paying 2026 pricing. Its compact 6.3-inch size also makes it easier to use one-handed than the Max models.
What to check before you buy
- eSIM only: in the US and Canada this model has no physical SIM slot.
- Not the Pro Max: listings sometimes mix titles; the 17 Pro is the 6.3-inch model and tops out at 1TB.
- Unlocked vs carrier: “unlocked” in the title is not enough; ask the seller to confirm it is not tied to a carrier or financing plan, and check the IMEI on the carrier’s or Apple’s coverage page.
- Read our buy safely on eBay checklist before you commit.
