Description
Garmin designed the Venu 4 for people who want health insight first and training plans second. Released in September 2025, it replaces the Venu 3 with a full metal case instead of just a metal bezel, adds multi-band GPS and an LED flashlight with white and red modes, and supports the ECG app. The screen is also brighter, matching the panels used on recent Forerunner models.

Who it’s for
Venu 4 is a good fit if you want sleep, stress and heart data, light workout tracking and a watch that lasts more than a week, without the complexity of a Fenix or Forerunner. It works with both iPhone and Android phones, which makes it a flexible choice for mixed households.
What to check before you buy
- Pick the right size: the 41 mm and 45 mm versions are separate listings, and band colours vary.
- Leather band versions are sold separately from silicone ones, so read the title carefully.
- Choose a sealed box from a store with returns, so you can send it back if the fit is wrong.
- Thinking about a cheaper pre-owned unit instead? Our used smartwatch buying guide covers what to check.
