Description
The Flip borrows the hands-free tricks of the DJI Neo but adds a real 1/1.3-inch camera and an RC controller option. Its carbon-fibre prop guards fold flat over the body, a first for DJI, so it can fly near people and land in your hand with less risk.

It suits YouTubers, travellers, families and anyone filming themselves outdoors. Pilots who fly in wind or need full obstacle avoidance at speed may prefer a Mini-series drone.
What to check before you buy
- Kit: the Flip is sold without a remote, with the RC-N3 or with the DJI RC 2; confirm what the photos and title include.
- US status: the Flip received FCC authorization before the December 2025 FCC rule change; confirm the seller is shipping a North American unit.
- Registration: under 250 g recreational use needs no FAA registration, but commercial use still does; in Canada a micro drone needs no certificate if flown safely.
- Sealed box: confirm the drone has not been activated and that the battery count matches the kit.
