Description
Fujifilm’s X-M5 is the brand’s smallest and lightest X-series body, introduced in October 2024. It puts the proven 26.1 MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the newer X-Processor 5 into a compact shell with a dedicated film simulation dial on top, a vari-angle screen for selfies and vlogging, and video up to 6.2K open gate. Who it’s for
The X-M5 suits new photographers, travellers and short-form video creators who want a camera that fits in a jacket pocket and gives pleasing colour straight out of the camera. Photographers who prefer an eye-level viewfinder should look at the X-T50 or X-S20.
What to check before you buy
- Check that the XC15-45mm lens is included if the price assumes a kit.
- Colour choices (black or silver) are separate listings.
- Grey-import bodies are often sold without a US or Canadian manufacturer warranty, so ask the seller which warranty region applies.
- Popular compact cameras attract fake listings; see our guide on spotting fake eBay listings.
