Description
Nikon’s Z5II, released in April 2025, borrows much of the Z6III’s technology for a more accessible full-frame body. The big changes over the first Z5 are a back-illuminated 24.5 MP sensor, the EXPEED 7 processor used in the Z8 and Z9, much faster subject-detection autofocus and a vari-angle screen. A dedicated Picture Control button gives quick access to looks and downloadable recipes.

What to check before you buy
- Check whether the listing is body only or a kit with the Z 24-50mm or 24-200mm lens.
- Confirm Z5II rather than the original Z5, which is often listed for less.
- Grey-import bodies are often sold without a US or Canadian manufacturer warranty, so ask the seller which warranty region applies.
- Compare several sellers before buying; our best time to buy electronics on eBay article explains when deals tend to appear.
