Description
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra on September 30, 2026, with sales starting October 7. It keeps the huge 14.6-inch format of the S11 Ultra but moves to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip, ships with Android 17 and One UI 9, and adds Wi-Fi 7. The S Pen still comes in the box, and the slim body remains rated IP68.

Who it’s for
Digital artists, students who annotate PDFs, and professionals who want a second screen or a laptop replacement with DeX will get the most from this tablet. Anyone who mainly streams video and browses may find it unwieldy and will be fine with a smaller model.
What to check before you buy
- Check the model number on the box: US units differ from international ones, which can affect warranty and some features.
- Confirm the memory and storage combination, since the 1TB version is the only one with 16GB of RAM.
- Make sure the S Pen is still in the sealed box and not listed as missing.
- Prefer Samsung’s official eBay presence or established electronics stores with clear return terms.
- Use our safe-buying checklist before paying for any high-value tablet.
